https://www.instagram.com/p/C8H_sfFuGFV A predictably softer non-conference schedule will hopefully allow Michigan to avoid last year's shocking start. It's Year 2 of Coach Virtue's program rebuild and we should have her full time as soon as her Olympics stint ends. Notes on the 2024 schedule: - Seems like a missed opportunity on August 31 with football hosting Fresno State; we could have had a Leisa Rosen homecoming instead of running a curious back to back with Kent State. Too soon? The Rosen's would be welcomed. - Other Saturday football/volleyball combos: October 26 volleyball hosting Nebraska and football hosting MSU makes for a fun day; November 23 volleyball hosting Oregon as football hosts Northwestern. Would be nice to see more coordination between the football and volleyball programs, especially for the west coast B1G teams. - I like the Pitt exhibition match on August 24, not something the Rosen's did very often. That will be a real test for our young team. - I'm still not a fan of the MSU match as the conference opener, at least the East Lansing rematch is on a Friday this season. Looking forward to seeing the big freshmen class and some overall program improvement this season. Go Blue!

Though it doesn't say it anywhere in the post, I think matches listed in white are home and matches in maize are away, so the Nebraska match would be on the road on Oct. 26th. But correct for Nov. 23rd being on a home football weekend.

Just got my season ticket renewal email today. Michigan summers are so short I hate wishing them away, but still I cannot wait to see what this team brings this fall. I'm excited to see how the returning players have improved and what the new players bring to the party. The guys at the MiSHEgan podcast are expecting a big jump this season in their predictions episode, so who am I to disagree. Go Blue!

I wonder how many matches we will get at Crisler; looking at the schedule it seems unlikely we will get more than 7 or 8.

So, has anyone heard anything about Ece Şenyapıcı? 2025 6’3” middle from Turkey. Our Michigan Volleyball Recruiting IG account reposted the post below to their stories today and Erin has liked several of her IG posts. http://instagram.com/p/C95GwpLMC-h Looks like she has a heavy arm and a good upside but she looks a bit slow in the YouTube I watched (although it could just be the competition).
