I'll take the bait. We won 9 out of the last 10, and should have won 10. We made the BW Semis. We hit 20 wins. But we aren't sniffing postseason. The preseason needs to change. We need faster, more athletic, dynamic middle blockers who can read the play and not give up 1 on 1's to the other teams. If we can correct those 2 things, we could be good.

The team needs an athletic middle who can move laterally quickly. As we speak, in 2024 CAL POLY's two MBer's are Slack the rs-senior-to-be and Masingale the rs-soph-to-be. Neither lady has received any kind of attention to signify outstanding playing ability needed in this spot. It's a position coach Walters has not addressed satisfactorily!!! |

I think you guys are also going to pick up Kayla Murdock. 6'2" OH JUCO transfer from Ventura. She is a beast. Routinely contacts from 3rd white and if you can get her the right set, hard to stop. 2 time JUCO All American. I saw her get 36 kills in a 4 set match in HS.
