I don't know how Karch will be making any decisions soon. There are more questions than answers outside of Larson and JWO that we've seen. We can assume Cook/KP based on their success this year but everything else is a mess. The only thing that's "a mess" about Annie is her defense and blocking. You better count her as a lock! I will not be passing judgment until I see her dig a ball. I may be waiting awhile |

re. the Olympic roster, I think the degree to which these couple VNL weeks are a tryout is limited. I think they know who they want to take… What this week is especially, is the 1st time everyone is in the gym, and the degree of any injury or conditioning issues are certain, and any changes dictated by that will be known. The strategy around that 13th player can clarify based on any A-teamer that may have a high probability of coming up lame during the tourney. I wonder if they will look at any benefit the men’s group are getting out of early roster certainty, and maybe make the call earlier rather than later…. The tension just has to be crazy for the gals this week. I don’t believe the men’s team had multiple players who did not play a professional season this year..... It's really the American way since covid... Work from home vibez you guyzzz |

I didn't watch the matches, how did Larson perform? Horribly. She hit negative 500, passed a 1.02 and never got a serve over the net Or at least that’s why people have pretty much said on the thread when she shanked one ball.. |

If I were Carlini and Hancock who played these past 18 months competitively, to be now in the cusp of may or may not be on the olympic roster must be nerve wrecking. I dont want to say its unfair because its not like Poulter wanted to be injured as well.. i recognize it has nothing to do with actually vball lol but just a feeling. I don't follow the national team unless it's the Olympics or sometimes World Championship... what happened to Poulter? |

I don't follow the national team unless it's the Olympics or sometimes World Championship... what happened to Poulter? She wasn't in great health to begin with in 2022, played all summer with USA and then in December of 2022 she had a bad knee injury (ACL, MCL and PCL) during her club season. Has worked very hard to come back from that. This VNL (May 2024) was the first competitive volleyball she had played in like 16 months. |
