Jamie Davis will have a much shorter commute from Florida for his infrequent office visits, but how many flight connections will he have to make?

USA Volleyball could have an actual training facility again—at perhaps 1/5th the cost for something similar in Southern California. But as the Supernovas are demonstrating, believing that you’re the Volleyball Mecca and being the Volleyball Mecca requires the ability to attract the top talent in a lot of different areas. I can’t see Karch or Speraw moving there on a full-time basis, so maybe it will be a sort of transitory hub, or maybe there will be a complete re-structuring or re-staffing.

i just know holiday is screaming crying throwing up at the thought of californians moving to nebraska Hahaha. Nebraska does have...substantially colder winters than California, Californians, used to their mild sunny weather, will have to adjust to that.

Its not the location, its the people, that matters.

Weather aside, there could be some advantages to this -
-plenty of land for a large, dedicated training center -less expensive housing for both year-around staff and players coming in to train -opportunities for volleyball-related jobs with two local pro teams and youth teams in both Omaha and Lincoln -central US location
