Hi Purdue fans! With Brielle Warren transferring to CSU, I was wondering if anyone could give some insight on her as a player? I see she only played in one set during her time at Purdue, but curious what you all thought saw from her not in official matches.
Thanks!

Heavy arm, decent pin blocker, so so ball control but could maybe develop into a mid major 6 rotation pin with the right confidence and reps. Purdue had her in the right some and the left some. She really fell down the depth chart this past year with the freshman being so talented. I think she has a bit lower of contact point and struggled with the block. Against a smaller block I think she could light people up though.

Probably more suited to play OPP. A 3-rotation hitter with a DS to play back row. Here's more footage of her during the spring season against Wisconsin. She played right side in sets 1 and 3 IIRC. www.youtube.com/live/ahEfyh_lAfw?si=LBLf_cpE9T5OzOwwHere's the spring match against Kentucky but the camera is really far away. She played OPP in this one too, but I can't remember which sets: www.youtube.com/live/k306XEbA_H4?si=xEOSOo6RkBQ58-qI

Extensions by year:
2005: 5 year 2009: 5 year 2012: 6 year 2014: 6 year 2017: 6 year 2021: 4 year 2024: 4 year
Contract extensions by administration are predictable and sometimes use templates to reassure recruits of a coaching presence during their committed tenure. "No smoke = no fire" as has been said multiple other times.

x.com/purduevb/status/1750949588624650492?s=46John Klanac has been named Assistant Coach and will be joining the Purdue staff. Not super familiar with the Rice Volleyball program (outside of their success), but I’m excited to see what he can bring to West Lafayette!

I have heard vague mention of Purdue upgrading the volleyball arena. Here is my random idea on how to do it. Build a new indoor track next to the co-rec/outdoor track then remodel Lambert for the volleyball team. Lambert seat around 7500 when the basketball team played there. Seems like you could set up a really nice 5000 seat volleyball arena inside it. I do think building a new building from the ground up out by the baseball/softball fields would be a mistake. Thoughts ?

They really need a bigger arena. It’s impossible to get a ticket to watch them play. I tried paying big bucks when the badgers visited Holloway, but nobody was selling.
