It's interesting to note that all the franchises now have two founding athletes except Madison. Maybe there will be another announcement for that one.

It’s obvious that someone at USA Volleyball is due a big fat commission check.

Bit of a random example (but one that I really liked). Listening to Larson talk about LOVB and how the pro leagues in the USA could've changed the trajectory of some other players' careers and she specifically mentions Vansant and how she was unbelievably talented. Emphasizes she had so much talent but just didn't want to be overseas so far away from family and whatnot.
A nice callback to an exceptional player

A nice callback to an exceptional player I was thinking the other day how happy Megan Courtney-Lush has to be, playing at home. I remember early in her Penn State days she said she probably wouldn't go pro only because she didn't think she wanted to live overseas. (I'm sure this is true of many; just another specific example from someone I remember calling this out specifically.)

I’d like to imagine Yoss would be our starting opposite too

Seems like an ideal situation for Larson. She gets to live in her home state, coach at her alma mater and play in a league with all her national team friends.

With all of the big signings and poaching players from PVF… How is LOVB going to foot the bill? I’ve heard rumblings that they have yet to secure enough financial backing. Does anyone else have any insight into this? Im hearing that they were extremely aggressive with their outreach to PVF players during the season , but very vague on details other than in increased pay.

They've raised at least $60 million in venture capital. I think they're fine for this season, lol.

There are some NBA players investing I believe which helps, too. Jayson Tatum is one, and his contract in the NBA is worth more than $160M. $32.6M per year. We need more of those guys to invest.

Can you even define it as poaching? lol. It's not like anyone (afaik) signed multi-year deals (But they were/are? aggressively pursuing some PVF players)
