I just thought the B was supposed to look special

You want everyone to refer to the best pro league in the States as 'love'? So stupid to me I hope it's renamed in a few years "Welcome to the first ever love match" "___ wins the love championship" I really hope the media / announcers just refer to it as league one lmao

At the least, it's a better name than PVF is. I probably would have gone with Major League Volleyball, National Volleyball League or National Volleyball Association. But the somewhat derivative nature of those names could be an issue also.

I don’t think “love” in spoken conversation sounds better than PVF lol.
I like League One.

I don’t think “love” in spoken conversation sounds better than PVF lol. I like League One. As I said, it's subjective. I think any sports league with "federation" in its name is a mistake, but that's just me.

It's just bad branding. You're not gonna own "LOVE" - you're just not, and then having people see LOVB in print and not connect with it when they hear "LOVE" -- no ma'am.

I wonder if they’ll lean more into league one for pro stuff and LOVB for the organization

I wonder if they’ll lean more into league one for pro stuff and LOVB for the organization I also think it might also depend on the medium. It seems that they use "LOVB" in print a lot, but I hear "League One" a bit more often on broadcast.

The addition of Anwusi is interesting because she's had no previous professional experience. She might be the only one so far? Right?
