At the end of the day it’s just a little more sitting and standing than they are used to. If anything, there’s a good chance athletes are more caught up on their school work with the extra travel time.

That’s an extremely optimistic viewpoint.
I flew an hour to Denver yesterday and i swore I wouldn’t fly again when I landed.
I guess the only schools to travel to this extent is the WAC conference. Wonder what those coaches think?

Love the HUSKER - U C L A matchup. So much better now that they're in the same conference. New tradition taking place.

What a brutal travel schedule. I'm surprised at all the non-conference long trips. They go to Atlanta, GA, have a four-day layover then play in Knoxville, TN, go home for a couple days, then fly to Fort Worth, TX. After five days at home, head to Sacramento on a Thursday then drive to Berkeley for a Saturday match, go home and head to Lincoln, Nebraska five days later. That is quite harsh leading into conference play. After a week and a half at home, they head to Seattle, then a week later a Thursday-Sunday pair at Purdue and Northwestern. After a week and a half at home, head to Eugene, Oregon, come home then four days later head to Rutgers and Maryland. After being home for ten days, they head to their final trip to Indiana and Illinois. wow, that's a lot of travel!!!

Unfortunately, UCLA plays only one Sunday match at home (vs. Ohio State, home opener). Home matches are spread out over Wednesday through Saturday, for the most part. I really enjoyed going to Sunday home games in the Pac-12. I also miss the USC match on Thanksgiving weekend (usually at Galen). Unfortunately, the two USC matches have to be scattered in the middle of the conference season to give the teams a travel break. That's unfortunate.
