When it happened at Nebraska and they harassed Rainelle Jones, I can't remember if the fan got tossed or not. No fans got tossed, but Cook, the players, and the administration all made public condemnations of it. I don't have the exact wording but I'm lead to believe it wouldn't be tolerated again.

Lousiana won this game by run rule in the 6th. Rematch on Sunday. Although since it's a doubleheader with the hosts Louisiana-Lafayette playing New Mexico in the 1st game of the day, I wonder if they won't play the national anthem for game 2. When doubleheaders of the same two teams are played in back-to-back games, usually game 2 doesn't play the national anthem.

What's your point? I was there when it happened, so don't need a refresher on the details of the situation. I was specifically interested in trojansc's source for the following part of their post: "(I looked it up and the fan was removed/banned)". Edited to add: I see the quote about the fan being kicked out/banned in the article you posted. However, it was hearsay attributed to unnamed Nebraska players and I can tell you for a fact that the "stand up you piece of trash" fan was not kicked out that night and was not banned from future matches. I'm very sorry, I misunderstood what you were questioning. I thought you were questioning whether or not the statement to Rainelle was said. My bad.

Wait ... you mean Cal Berkeley student athletes might be kind of liberal? GTFO! Hold the presses! Breaking news! I think the ULL fans should have been removed from the contest. That's the news, but, given it's Lafayette, Louisiana, I wouldn't be surprised if nothing happened to them. Fans should not be able to harass players during a contest for kneeling during an anthem. When it happened at Nebraska and they harassed Rainelle Jones, I can't remember if the fan got tossed or not. Dumb, the cal players crapping on our country should have been removed

The Cal - Louisiana-Lafayette rematch is entertaining so far. Cal holding on to a 1-0 lead going into bottom of the 5th. Some defensive gems on both sides so far.
If there was a national anthem - it wasn't broadcast.

This is honestly some bullsh*t.
Bottom of the 7th inning - Cal up 1-0, runner on 2nd, 1 out.
HEAVY downpour comes. Cal pitcher throws a ball in the dirt, then she tries to get a towel from the dugout. Next pitch, Cal Pitcher throws ANOTHER wildpitch in the rain and the runner advances to 3rd. Following pitch, Cal pitcher throws ANOTHER wildpitch in the rain and the runner scores. Tie game 1-1.
Cal Assistant coach and Cal Catcher get tossed out of the game following some arguments and a scuffle with ULL on deck batter.
Louisiana-Lafayette likely didn't want a stop because they would have lost the game if it reverted back to the 6th inning. But, the umpires should have at least temporarily tried to stop the game until the rain calmed down.
Edit:
Cal ended up walking the batter while it was pouring rain, ULL ends up with winning run on 3rd, but, Cal gets out of the jam. Going extra innings. As if this matchup needed any more drama.
Cal wins 3-1 in 8 innings. They go 5-1 in their Louisiana trip, hand ULL their first loss of the season. We can close the chapter on Cal vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, until the postseason if they somehow got matched up... that would be fun!

That looks like a Bruin, which as we all know is a dickless bear. This is a Golden Bear:

For some reason, that reminds me of an all-time favorite commercial:

So that is pretty funny, although it's also funny in that canned salmon is generally the lowest-grade fish. But whatever.
I had never heard of "John West". Turns out it's an Aussie brand.
