Glad her and everyone are okay, but they should take her out of the U21 training roster. Not a good look The irony of it being U21…

It is very easy to say that it was a mistake or a dumb decision when you know the outcome of the decision. She could have killed someone, or herself, and she should face serious consequences from that and I’m sure she will from Cook. It obviously will not impact her playing career but it is just not a good look for the program and I think she may not make the roster for U21 just because it’s not a good look for USA volleyball. Maybe she will have community service to do over the summer anyways! Lol

I dont think Murray needs to be removed from anything volleyball related or punished any further than what the Nebraska staff deems necessary in terms of her volleyball career. She is facing legal consequences yall, the same ones all of us would face if we were in her position. Not to mention the negative media attention that is an extra consequence already. I dont see why there needs to be any extra consequences for her, especially considering nothing bad resulted from her mistake I think she needs to not worry about anything volleyball related until she takes care of this. (Which isn't outside the norm of how things work in the real world)

I'm happy to hear that the police got to her before she hurt herself or anyone else.
Hopefully she will take the lesson, move on and make a better decision.
Side note: She seems much taller in person or giving birth has made shrink lol

.167? That's higher than she hit in the tourney Ha! As a Nebraska fan I should take offense to this, but it is pretty funny, though not true. She did just fine in the first 5 games of the tournament. It was just the championship game where she and all the other Nebraska players struggled. Harper hit .172 for the 6 NCAA tourney matches, so that 167 is damn close. God help her in every way. Big life lesson, response will be interesting.

Aren't they like celebrities in Lincoln where everyone knows them? How does she get away with a fake id? I was wondering this too. As someone who lives near and spends a lot of time in Lincoln-I can confirm they are local celebrities.

If you look at her stats for the first 5 games of the tournament, you will see that they were pretty good. It was the championship game where she and the rest of the Nebraska team didn't do well.

How do people say volleytalk is worse off now than it was before? This thread is much more forgiving and PG than the VT collective was on Lauren Cook. Cook was DRAGGED.

Some may say it was a mistake but the fake ID, especially when you are a big star in Lincoln, is as dumb as one can get.
