PSU and Stanford have identical records, Stanfords two losses are against #1 and #2, PSU losses are against #1 and #3. As Stanford beat PSU there is no way PSU moves ahead, and I believe PSU is better but the facts are the facts.

Wisconsin won't drop 3 spots, but they could fall 2. Teams should not be rewarded for playing in mediocre conferences. Don't drop them, but don't move them up either. At least Notre Dame and Louisville will play each other. LOL ..Ruffda, that was designed to incite, wasn't it? Going by Pablo, that means the Big West is in even bigger trouble than the WAC. They'll have NO WAY of moving up, right? I don't put a lot of stock in the one match against Nevada, but that was a demolition of a Pablo ranked #30 team. Let's not dismiss it because of the rantings of a few. No, it wasn't designed to stir up the rabble -- and I wasn't even specifically referring to Hawai'i. I don't like the idea of Notre Dame and Louisville creeping up in the polls because other teams play in tougher conferences. But, yes, it also applies to Hawaii. Unless the teams above them are losing to teams ranked well below them, I don't think wins in the WAC warrant Hawaii leapfrogging other teams. For instance, Wisconsin losing at home to PSU is no reason for Hawaii to move past them. Or Notre Dame. And Louisville should not be as high as they are. Now if Wisconsin or Minnesota loses to Indiana or Northwestern or... And, yes, the Big West is in a world of hurt in regards to the rankings. Is all this all that unreasonable?

As Stanford beat PSU there is no way PSU moves ahead, and I believe PSU is better but the facts are the facts. Again, that's not how the AVCA poll works. And a win at Wisconsin is a better win than Stanford has this year.
