Oh naurrr they privated it. Are there any more links? wasn’t surprised they kept it private. I’m surprised they kept it public for as long as they did after their team loss. If you heard what the woman was saying throughout, it was cringy borderline disrespectful. At one point while the Warriors was serving, you can hear her say, “what are they saying, strange bunch.” This was regarding to what the players on Hawaii side were chanting while clapping for the serve.

He was down on the ground for a bit and hobbled off. What else are we suppose to make of that Watching it on that live feed? If he is doing great then perfect! I don't think any of us want to see anyone injured early especially him and what he brings to the team. So just keep it movin'.

With Kearney at the outside, Sakanoko not on the trip no clue who the backup Opp might be. JT?

Does anyone else remember?

For some reason I think Kurt ran in to play? Does anyone else remember? Maybe they swapped? Kurt went back to the middle, JT moved from middle to Opposite? Or I suppose if it’s just a couple front row points Kurt can manage some Right side play. Any serving specialists? And on the opposite side of the court, did Ottmar play? I had work the whole weekend so I didn’t get to watch before it got private.

Just a couple of guys didn't get in and they have like 20+ on the roster.

Since I couldn't watch the scrimmage again to analyze it a little more, I ended up watching a replay of last year's GCU match. I was reminded by how GOOD Spyros Chakas' step close is. That man could approach to any kine set and really made Tread look good until he went down with his season-ending injury.
From what I saw from the GCU scrimmage, Kristian also has a clean step close that allows him to see the block and attack with range and POWER. I forgot which part of the scrimmage this play is from but Kristian received a low-ish set that looked like it trapped him near the antenna and the Lopes block had completely sealed off the line and seam. He proceeded to absolutely demolish a sharp angle attack. It went wide but I was shook by how good that approach and swing was.
Kristian was definitely the standout of the scrimmage for Mizz Karen.

Marquardt, I believe was the shorter middle that was flying all over the place. GCU looks like it has solid middle play with that group especially when Jordan at 6'10" is your last option off the bench. It'll be interesting to see who emerges to be the OHs, nobody seemed to really standout.

For some reason I think Kurt ran in to play? Does anyone else remember? Kurt did go in to play oppo. Weiter was there but I think he needs transfer clearance before he steps on the court. Looked like Kawai was a serving sub. Also, did Tread get hurt? Did he have a bandage on his chin?
