Like Iāve told others, we can ALWAYS change the subjectā¦ Like when do we expect Aruya to make a decision and what exactly makes people think that decision will be Hawaii? How are our incoming recruits and current players doing in their club teams and national team practices respectively? This weekend and next will be BIG weekends for Payne, Wheels, and I would imagine Finn as well but Iām not sure what his NT schedule is and what heās available for. Does the team plan on doing a foreign trip this off season? I would imagine some kind of bonding event is an imperative with so many new bodies incoming. On the subject of new bodies, who is getting to Manoa and when? I'm pretty sure you are only allowed one international trip every 4 years.Ā So they wouldn't be eligible since they went to Japan last year or was that beginning of this year. Ooh I had no idea there was a limitation, I thought it was all up to available funds. Well hopefully there is a good ambassador on the team that can take on the role of acclimating the new guys to Hawaii life. Probably wouldāve been Thiim but that ship has sailed, probably for the best. Maybe Choy takes on that responsibility going forward. |

Does anyone know when summer school starts or when the report date is for the team? Iām just trying to figure out if there are a lot of barriers towards getting to the island. Will Roure experience the same issues Sakanoko did joining the team in time, not to mention all the other foreign players. |

Iām surprised that Justin Todd did not make the final line up for the U21 since he got beaten out for OH spot by some HS players.
Kainoa Wade was expected of not making the team since he is very raw while expectedly, Kearney made it.
Thread obviously made it and I think that he will be the captain.

JT not making the team should not be a surprise. Just because JT is one year into college and some of these kids are still in HS doesnāt mean JT has an advantage. Foley, Kelly and Hartke are legitimate big time international level players. JT is just not on the same level yetā¦..especially in the passing department. Itās a good experience for him though. Maybe he will get a crack at the U23 team. |
