Charlie Wade needs to cut all of the players on the team this year. They clearly lack at necessary life skills. Charlie Wade also should let Milan Zarkovic go. He obviously forgot about volleyball. Tread Rosenthal should be deported from Hawaii. He doesn’t even like plate lunch and lacks critical thinking skills. Charlie Wade should only look for players that have gone through a thorough vetting by wahinefan to ensure that they are up to his bipolar standards. Charlie Wade probably should get stranded paddle boarding and let wahinefan coach and set the team next year. Lmfao. It's gonna coach the Hawaii Men's and Women's team since both coaches are deficient and lack the ability to recruit the best polished athletes. ☠️☠️☠️

He/she was ragging on Siberstein too. Every volleyball coach on the UH campus lack volleyball knowledge and should not be allowed on campus due to incompetence.

I think we are really gonna like Ofeck and Kurt in the middle. Down the stretch, Kurt showed us what he is capable of both blocking and on offense. He just needs to be set more.

I am totally looking forward to the Tread-Louis Ace Record race for the next 3 years Roure also has a pretty wicked serve too. We see what happens. Tread needs to work on his footwork, set distribution, and his set location and Sakanoko need to work on his serve recieve, his serve and his consistency in the off season. This team can be special next season and I'm hopeful they will be able to put it all together.

I am totally looking forward to the Tread-Louis Ace Record race for the next 3 years Mmmmhmmm! That and their connection on offense. They had multiple moments this season where Tread isolated Louis and he was able to hit the ball seemingly perpendicular.

Okay so I landed in Dallas for work and had some time to take in the UNEDITED full match footage of Roure and Titriyski from last year's U19 Worlds. As a former coach and player, I don't be trusting those highlight videos because I know it doesn't really show anything close to what fans can expect to get. Bottom line, I like what I saw from both of them. This is what I have to say after watching 3 matches.
I thought that Roure showed a strong all-around game but my favorite thing about him was his poise in any situation. It seems like he sees the game in slow motion but fans will find out if that will carry over into his NCAA career. Titriyski impressed me with his speed as an attacker for such a big young man. He gets on the ball fast and has some pop. I also saw him show some range when he attacked, which I love in attackers. In the matches I watched, he didn't give much on the defensive side e.g. floor defense and blocking. There were times where he looked very confused in the match against France and got lost about 2-3 times at the net.
As a side note, Simeon Nikolov had me shook with his setting style. He doesn't always jump set (which I love cause its simple and repeatable) and showed off some good footwork but my favorite thing was his neutral body position, grace and the smooth finish that released such a flat looking set. Like what?! If this skill transfers and improves, he's could be a problem at LBSU.

Am I wrong in thinking that Todd should've been first team for the Big West? Or was his numbers declining in conference play?

My wish for next year is a Hawaii schedule that challenges this team and gives them their best shot at a strong resume at the end of the year.
And yes, grow the game 🤣

I got to chat with Kurt at the Beach/Eaters match and told him that he played solid in the BWC tourney and that my wife and I were looking forward to seeing him on the court next season. Kurt and Keoni are a dynamic duo.
