I hate to stir stuff up again but I can’t believe one of you dummies really said that Demps was not worth recruiting for Hawaii. What an idiotic thing to say and I am convinced a lot of you THINK you can judge talent but don’t have an actual clue. For the life of me - I can't understand why grown adults can't just agree to disagree. It is completely possible to articulate opposing views on any subject matter with respect without calling each other names and just being disrespectful. I've always heard of VT being super toxic and tbh I joined b/c I love reading what may or may not be happening in regards to UH Vball. For the most part - since I've joined it's been fun and interesting but little things like this make me super disappointed. Take the high road, be mature gee wiz. I mean there is a difference between having a differing opinion and being objectively wrong based off evidence/one’s own lack of presenting evidence lol |

Their ball control got 100% better without Kai & Kahale. All they needed to do was get digs & good block touches to give Kainoa more chances to transition. Ok because I didn’t think Outrigger was up there as one of the top teams in the country there way people have been talking about the state of high school boys volleyball in Hawaii |

Ok because I didn’t think Outrigger was up there as one of the top teams in the country there way people have been talking about the state of high school boys volleyball in Hawaii Talent wise….Outrigger definitely does not have the great all around talent like the other teams but when you have a 2X national champion head coach coaching the team, it will kinda even out the odds a little bit. They know how to battle. |

So this second place finish is insane. It just shows the height isn't everything, ball control is still important. |

You can always use the block function. It works wonders. I joined this forum eons ago and I have posters blocked on here that used to aggravate to no end back then that I finally got the chance to block. To have to block certain people on here b/c we can't respectfully disagree is honestly really lame - its so immature Blocking posters equals less stress for some. Not having to deal with troll like behavior. But to each their own. And how is it immature? Be grateful you didn't get berated by posters like Holiday or HolidayHusker back in the day. |

When there aren't much info going on in the Hawaii Men's/Women's threads I peruse through other threads that seem interesting by thread title. So that's how I came across the 2024 AAU Boys Nationals. That's how I found out that Quicksets VBC has returned. 🤯 |

Yes! In one of the the Hawaii chats back when Jade Demps was considering Hawaii when she was in the portal, I had said something about snagging her and hopefully having a good chance at her brother in a couple years and some fool shot it down. Don’t remember who it was but safe to say, whoever it was, cannot judge volleyball talent to save their lives. Yes I clearly remember this spat as well. I forget who it was that said that too.lol It's somewhere on one of the threads. Haha it was actually you. |
