Bulgaria won the Balkan Championship u20. I don't have stats, but Titriyski played.
ignore the beginning, the scoreboard is mislabeled and it was the ending of the bronze medal match. the gold medal match between Bulgaria and Serbia starts at @50:35

I hope this can open a pipeline to bring in some stud Italian players in the future. They have some studs over there too.

Justin Todd was invited to train with Italian Men's professional team, Volley Lube for three weeks. Jacob Thelle played at Volley Lube last year and Alex Nikolov left Long Beach to play professionally at Lube. Here is a (browser-translated) version of the Lube website News article, " The promising spiker Justin Todd on the court with Lube until August 31"... A promising young American jumps and sweats with Cucine Lube Civitanova to keep the level of technical sessions high during athletic training. The spiker Justin Todd, born in 2005, 200 cm tall and back from the year in the band with the Hawaii University jersey, an adventure that ended with third place in the Big West Conference and ninth place in the NCAA, arrived in Italy in recent days to face a 14-day summer internship in red and white at the court of Giampaolo Medei. Davi Tenorio's roommate, the big American boy will end his Civitanova experience on August 31, when he will reach Bologna and fly to the States.
Justin, what are your impressions during this internship at Lube?
Todd: "For me it is a real honor to train in a building and on a field where I have seen many legends play. Even if the championship is stopped, when I look towards the stands I can feel the energy of the Italian fans who support Lube on my skin. Working here is very nice and I hope that one day I can return to Civitanova Marche to play for a chance".
From Hawaii to Civitanova Marche, what do you think of this city?
"I must say that I liked it immediately, a really beautiful city. First of all, it is bathed by the sea like Hawaii, a first strong point for me. Here too I eat excellent Sushi and many other fish dishes. I also love swimming, so Civitanova is promoted and I consider it an ideal place to live".
At the end of August you will return to your homeland. Do you think that one day we will see you again in Italy, perhaps in the SuperLega Credem Banca championship?
"I think I have the requisites to get involved even in a tough tournament like the Italian top flight. I am confident in my means and thinking of achieving a high goal like this reflects my mentality. I really hope to be able to return and play in SuperLega one day!"

I'm really excited about the upcoming season, especially with the addition of Ofeck Hazan, Clay Wieter, Adrien Roure, and Finn Kearney. These new recruits should make for an entertaining year for Hawaii volleyball. Looking forward to seeing how they contribute to the team's success!

Roure is playing right now live at the CEV U20. Watched the first two sets. I just wane say that his all-around game will definitely be up there with the best as a freshman. That dig to bic was chef's kiss. I think he finished with 8 kills with 2 errors, 4 digs and a block assist. Serve was pretty consistent. Not related to us, but Mathis Henno's passing needs a lot of work.
