Is Chaz Galloway the kind of player that can only play if he is 100% healthy? At this time of the season, players have some type of injury, but they suck it up and play. Look at Tread, he has a fractured pinky finger, but he is sucking it up and playing through it. There are others, not only on the Hawaii Team, but on other teams also. They suck it up and play through it. They do not say, "well I have an injury, so I am not going to give it 100%, do everything to be on the floor, and playing. Not be content to be on the sidelines." Go to hell.

Woo hoo! Great job, Anteaters! If UCI ends up sweeping this series, Hawaii is screwed! Lol No sweat on my brow. If Hawaii makes it, great. If Hawaii doesn't make it, give it a shot next season.

Woo hoo! Great job, Anteaters! If UCI ends up sweeping this series, Hawaii is screwed! Lol If UCI sweeps the series UH would be better off playing LBSU in the semis anyway. Hawaii played LB right after Hakas went down and they were still finding their footing. Personally, I feel like a UCI team playing well is a lot scarier than a LBSU team playing well.

While both LBSU and UCI are great teams, I agree with this. I think that UCI has more point scoring potential than LBSU as evidenced by their sweep earlier this evening and their sweep on night #1 vs Hawaii. If they're playing well, I think UCI team has a shot at a national championship. They can get inconsistent for the duration of a full match as evidenced by their losses to CSUN (night #1 of their, Hawaii (night #2 of their series), Lewis and USC.

This is quite an intriguing point. They also have not yet matched up in Hawaii. LBSU at Hawaii is less worrisome than at the Pyramid. We can also always hope that CSUN gets hot in the semis as well… anyway, we shall see.

Just shut these entire f up, this literally isn’t true there are several players on top teams that are not playing regularly or at their best due to nagging injuries. JUST SHUT YOUR STUPID MOUTH ALREADY!!!

Looks like Hawaii seed #3 plays UCSB or CSUN. First night BWC I don't expect the first round to be a cakewalk either. UCSB took Hawaii to 5 and CSUN defeated Hawaii both at home.

Really wondering what is going on with Chaz Galloway. Being a Senior, is he Okay with not playing? I mean, as much as we all like Keoni Thiim, he cannot be that much better then Chaz Galloway, that Keoni is able to take the Starting Outside Hitter position away from Chaz Galloway. With all the playing experience Chaz Galloway has, it seems that Chaz has quit trying. You would think Chaz would fight for his Starting Outside Hitting Position, but I just do not see it. Give Keoni Thiim credit, he worked and fought for the Starting Outside Hitter position. I have no idea why the people on this board dog on Thiim so much, he is statistically a better outside than both Chaz and Louis. I guess none of you actually check stats but on the year he is hitting .278 compared to Chaz (.266) and Louis (.248) while also having more service aces and digs per set. I genuinely don't understand the hate, or the meat riding for the other two. It's almost like you all pray on his downfall.

It's obvious that Thiim is more consistent than Sakanoko. The difference is Thiim has struggled on OOS sets and against a well formed block and Sakanoko has been able to create kills on those uglier sets as well as provide a consistent back row threat. If Hakas were still healthy Thiim might be a viable option being the more consistent of the two, but we have seen UH struggle when passing breaks down, and they need someone who can put down the ball on any given set.
