Costas' words gave me chicken skin and encapsulates what is so special about Hawaii's men's and women's volleyball teams. They affect so many people. I was a young girl when Costas was putting together his national champion, NPOY and four-time 1st team All-American career. Of course I was inspired by Kim and Lily but I was deeply inspired by Costas as well and went on to play and coach at a level that I never thought I would because of the level of play I was privileged to see time and time again as a youngster. Inspiration goes beyond gender, race and whatever else we like to have hang ups on today. GO BOWS FOREVER. young girl? Auntie i thought you stay 50s !? Eh, nevamine. You just want me to be 50 so you can have chance 👸🏻

So we want csun or beach to win tomorrow? Was thinking about this so imma lay out the options Scenario 1: Hawaii loses to UCI - Season Over. Scenario 2: Hawaii wins against UCI and goes to finals Scenario 2a: LBSU faces Hawaii in finals Scenario 2aa: LBSU wins against Hawaii; Hawaii competes with UCI and GCU for the at larges Scenario 2ab: Hawaii wins against LBSU and takes the autobid Scenario 2b: CSUN vs. Hawaii in the finals 2ba: CSUN wins; LBSU gets 1 at large, GCU/Hawaii/UCI compete for the other 2bb: Hawaii Wins; LB gets one at large, GCU/UCI for the other. So it's actually pretty even regardless. Hawaii has a lower chance of winning against Long Beach, but can still make the NCAAs even with a loss to LB. If CSUN gets to the finals, it becomes a must-win situation for Hawaii, but the win chances are decent. So the question is: Does Hawaii have a better chance at winning against CSUN, or getting an At-Large over UCI and/or GCU. Since to even consider it Hawaii has to win against UCI, the decision comes to GCU (Overall Record), UCI (Recent/Current Play), and Hawaii (Head to Head victories). TLDR; I Dunno

Loyola-Chicago and Ball State both losing doesn't help Hawaii's resume.. could've factored under "record against teams already qualified"... gotta win the tourney to leave no doubt. Crowd also gotta keep up the noise thru the whole match and not become saimin sippers when things not going UH's way

Rowan had the passing and personnel to make him even more spectacular than he already was. That’s what I’m thinking. I saw Rosenthal a few times before your outside went down and against LB. He’s gonna be good, just not ready to lead a team yet. Besides he needs a better name/nickname than Tread—sounds like an old tire. Get him a fan club called Rosie’s Warriors. (ok I stole that from the AVP, but you get my drift) like... Duke?

14 hours to go Will get to finally see D’arcy and Flexen play on tv. I think both were not cleared to play the last time they played in Hawaii.

I hope UH v LBSU in finals. Should we beat Irvine, wouldn’t we want to play csun cause we’ll have a better chance of winning the title
