I hope UH v LBSU in finals. Should we beat Irvine, wouldn’t we want to play csun cause we’ll have a better chance of winning the title Well considering we lost to both but at least took it to 5 on the road against LBSU....I feel we have a better shot with them than a hot CSUN team that already beat us at the Stan. Either or, both teams will be tough to defeat if Hawaii is even lucky enough to get by a really really good UCI squad. |

Should we beat Irvine, wouldn’t we want to play csun cause we’ll have a better chance of winning the title double edge sword... easier to beat CSUN in the finals but if you lose, LB would definitely get the at-large and GCU or UCLA likely get the other. If you lose to LB in the final, that at-large is between UH and UCI is much easier to justify as below UH than GCU/UCLA in at-large criteria. |

LB haven't played in the building this year |

I'll post the scores unless bucky415 comes in or if anyone else wants to do it. I was at work. Night shift zombie, not by choice. I will try to hold it together on beer so I can do it tonight. The 7 PM local start does work better with my Friday schedule. Happy the Bows are playing tonight! |

I'm hoping to see CSUN and Beach go five hard fought sets. So, set by set, point by point, I'll be adjusting which team I'm pulling for. But the emotional favorite will be CSUN, clearly the underdog in the Beach matchup.
Hawaii will have their hands full with UCI, which they must beat or forget an at-large. Should Hawaii make the final the odds are high they'll have to win the final because even though Hawaii would own the H2H with UCI and GCU, those teams own the plurality of selection criteria vs. Hawaii. The committee might not equal weight the criteria and they could emphasize the H2H, but that's not a safe bet. Hawaii must ignore the at-large and their approach must be to win the final to be in the NCAAT. So, they'd be better off with CSUN in the final.
