The Newcomer of the Year is a bit of a surprise to me! Not to me! He's been very good for Loyola-Chicago and his numbers reflect it. It wasn't a big year for freshmen. I kept looking at the Top 5/Top 10 to see who was actually starting any, and there weren't a lot. |

I kept looking at the Top 5/Top 10 to see who was actually starting any, and there weren't a lot. Yeah there are just not many impact freshmen this year. I guess I just didn't hear his name mentioned a lot and the games that I have seen him play, he didn't really stand out to me. But still congratulations to him! |

How do some setters who don’t average top 20 assists per set in the nation make a list? Wouldn't that be THE criteria for a setter? It just seems like such a politics game, just because they play at a big school they get it. Someone make it make sense for me
