Please Northwestern, schedule the weakest teams you can find.
Sincerely, the Big 10 RPI

Seems like Northwestern has a pretty good chance at landing OH Buse Hazan from USF. All things considered and this late, a solid pickup. She’s a baller and had almost 4 kps and was lights out when they played an everyone-was-healthy Florida early on and pushed them to 5. The AAC is no B1G but she hits a heavy ball and is fun to watch. The middle is still oh-so-thin, unless they revert Randorf back to her high school/club typical position of playing middle but swinging out on the pins at every chance.

Seems like Northwestern has a pretty good chance at landing OH Buse Hazan from USF. She would be a good offensive lift. Not a great passer tho

Northwestern should never lose a SA in volleyball that it wants to Harvard I imagine she was only walking on at Northwestern, then got admitted to Harvard. She was. She applied to her top schools and made her decision after getting her acceptance letters. Given the timing of this, my guess is she got off the waitlist at Harvard, hence the late change.

Losing Trubey is insult to injury.

I wonder why they didn't give her a scholarship since they have less than 12 players at this time. Any thoughts? At this point, Nollan should start considering players that are willing to play for him and can be accepted to the high academic standard of Northwestern, over talent. The team clearly needs players that can buy into his program a lot more than talent at this point. There are still some MB's and OH's left in the portal, although mostly are inexperienced or undersized for BIG10. The team also needs one or two DS/L players since they only have one true DS/L.

Sophie Summers Grad Transfer from Washington This feels like one of those odd cases where it really could just be a graduate school enrollee. She finished her undergrad degree as of the 2022-2023 academic year (we are currently in the 2023-2024 academic year) - wasn't here for the 2023 fall season. She's not really "transferring" from Washington.
