Didn't we have San Diego at 49 and Pepperdine at 51 last week? Pepperdine sunk a lot with their two losses to teams with better RPI More to it than just who you play. Perhaps some early season wins took a hit and coupled with two L’s proved to be a 7 point drop Yes, I'm mainly disputing the accuracy of previous (RPI) numbers listed... but it's an unfortunate hit for Pepperdine.

LMU took the first set over San Francisco 25-18. LMU hitting .225 and USF hitting .025.
Pepperdine is up 22-18 on Santa Clara - teams hitting .379 and .333. hmm. Also looks like SCU is missing their primary OH, Crabtree. Pepperdine won 25-19
San Diego took set one 25-20 over Portland Portland is hitting .293 and San Diego is hitting only .159 so far.

LMU is up 2-0 on USF, after coming from behind in set 2 to win 25-22.
San Diego also came back from a slow start to take the second set 25-22 and go up 2-0 on Portland.
Pepperdine cruised to a 25-11 second set win and is up 2-0 on Santa Clara. Pepp leads 12-6 in the third, and the fat lady is warming up in Malibu.

Pepperdine easily swept Santa Clara at home. Santa Clara, missing their best OH, and making lots of lineup changes, including libero, didn't really put up a fight. Chillingworth had 13 kills at .545 for Pepperdine. Radeff had 14 kills at .400 for Santa Clara.
San Diego is cruising in the third set toward a sweep at Portland, after two closer sets. It's 15-9 in the third. Larsson has a match high 13 kills at .250 for Portland, and Clark is leading San Diego with 10 kills at .214
LMU is similarly cruising their way toward a sweep of USF. It's 14-6 in the third set. USF is hitting .045 for the match and no one has more than 5 kills at this point. This is the same team that swept LMU a few weeks ago. Flickinger has 11 kills for LMU at .188 but Arrington has 9 kills at .615!

Portland made a huge comeback to make it close in the third set, but San Diego ultimately took it 27-25. Larsson had 15 kills at .250 Osunsanmi had 14 kills at .323. Nice to see her bounce back from her previous rough match.
LMU swept USF. The third set score was 25-8. Maybe they had something to prove.

LMU’s setter was out with a concussion the first time they played San Fran so that could be the reason for the loss the first time…

So, yeah, that only gets partial credit as an excuse.

Oregon State had a 19-15 lead in the first set over USD before USD went on a 4-0 run. Currently 20-20 in the first. Very important match (as they all are) for San Diego.

OSU has set point at 24-22 despite being out of subs and having their short setter, Lilo, stuck in the front row, where she got a block!
Beavers take the first set 25-22 (ended on two hitting errors by Beach. Osunsanmi is playing well today 4-0-5)

Osunsanmi came down from a block on her left foot, rolling her ankle on an OH's foot. Leaving the match ( at 5-2 OSU)
Currently tied at 8.
LMU and SCU tied at 9's.
