Gonzaga at 1-23 on the year and 0-14 in conference...big yikes Yes, they have not been helping anyone's RPI. San Diego leads Gonzaga 19-10 Pepperdine leads SMC 17-15 Pacific had a 6 point lead (13-7) in the third set over LMU, but LMU is now on a 5-0 run to close to 12-13. Now tied at 13...15-13. Great 8-0 comeback by LMU behind Sophia Meyers' serve. LMU needs to take care of business in this match, but Edwards is going to get her kills. |

LMU now on a 10-1 run to lead Pacific 17-14 in the third set.
San Diego is dismantling Gonzaga, as expected. First set 25-13, with USD hitting .485 and Gonzaga .161
Pepperdine and SMC were close for much of the first set, but Pepperdine has set point at 24-21. TO Pepp. Pepperdine hitting only ..056 for the set and Saint Mary's hitting negative.

LMU has really turned it around, leads Pacific 19-15 in the third. (pacific also imploded a little this set.)

Ella Piskorz is going to be really, really good for Pepperdine. Yes, for a freshman, her hitting and her blocking have been fantastic all season. |

Pepperdine squeaked out a 27-25 win in the first set against Saint Mary's.
Pacific has recovered a bit. Now 21-19 LMU.
LMU takes it 25-22 to go up 2-1

I should mention that Ella Durham is in for USD in place of Osunsanmi who rolled her ankle in the last match. Durham is currently 8-0-12 at .667.
USD leads Gonzaga 13-11 in the second set.

Flickinger and Meyers both have 15 kills for LMU at a high percentage. They are holding Pacific's main scorer, Edwards to 9 kills at .024. (She typically has over 20 kills/match). However, Van Groningen, Giani and Kuminova are taking up the slack for Pacific tonight. Pacific currently leads 15-11 in the fourth set.
Pepperdine and SMC still surprisingly close at 16-15 in the second set.

Pepperdine has set point to go up 2-0 on Saint Mary's...and they take it 25-20. (Pepperdine is hitting .154 for the match and SMC is hitting .098)
* Piskorz has 8 kills (at .467), 3 aces, 6 digs, 3 blocks.
LMU, shockingly, looks like they want to play 5 sets at Pacific. (Pacific leads 23-18...and they take the fourth set 25-20.)
