 Oregon State swept Portland with scores of -19, -19, -4. I have never seen a team score 4 points in a set and I did not see what happened. Santa Clara up 2-1 (25-21) at San Francisco after frittering away 5 set points with a 24-16 lead. There is definitely a phenomenon of athletes who perform at their absolute best when facing their former team. USF's Hayden Goodman, who played sparingly at SCU before transferring to USF, leads San Francisco with 10 kills at .529

OSU with the sweep of Portland, including a 25-4 3rd set with a 17-0 scoring run! Did you see any of this debacle? Rumel managed to serve 16 times without missing a serve, and with 2 aces. That's something in itself. Light had 10 kills with no errors at .556. Hester led with 12 kills at .500 Kaauwai led Portland with 9 kills, 0 errors at .529. Obviously she must have not been front row when Rumel was serving. |

Santa Clara wins 3-1 at San Francisco 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 25-22. SCU led by Opps Radeff with 18 kills (4 blocks) at .250 and Abutbul with 13 kills at .250
San Francisco led by Goodman's 11 kills (5 blocks) at .400. Rola and Puig had 10 kills each.

San Diego leads Gonzaga 19-10 Pepperdine leads SMC 17-15 Pacific had a 6 point lead (13-7) in the third set over LMU, but LMU is now on a 5-0 run to close to 12-13. Now tied at 13...15-13. Great 8-0 comeback by LMU behind Sophia Meyers' serve. |
