LMU still has to play WSU in Pullman. We could potentially see a tie for the conference title. That will be a tough matchup for sure. Brustad and Ryan and company will be fired up to end their careers with a win. |

Pepperdine's Piskorz put up POW numbers against Saint Mary's last evening. In three sets, she had 15 kills at .560, 5 blocks and 3 aces.
Pepperdine plays tomorrow up at Pacific, who are celebrating knocking off LMU last night. I expect they will focus on shutting down Piskorz.
There is one WCC match tonight: Washington State plays at Oregon State.

Oregon State has snuffed out Washington State's last statistical chance to be the AQ.
Fourth set 25-13.
OSU hit .381 and WSU .164. Rumel had 19 kills at .500 for OSU. 4 players with double digit kills.
Brustad led WSU with 11 kills at .241

SATURDAY matches: ESPN+ 12:00 PM - Pepperdine at Pacific ESPN+ Waves are up 2-0 (25-16, 25-22) Stats1:00 PM - Saint Mary's at Santa Clara ESPN+ (SCU up 17-7 in first set) Stats1:00 PM - Gonzaga at LMU ESPN+ Stats (LMU up 17-9 in the first) 1:00 PM - San Diego at San Francisco ESPN+ Stats USF leads 15-12 in the first. Bummer for USD not to have Munday available. Osunsanmi is playing but is 0-1-8 so far. USD now on a 7-2 run to lead 20-16 It's San Francisco's Senior Day. They are presumably graduating their starting setter, libero and 3 of top 4 producing hitters. I had this all teed up and then forgot to post. Lost all my links. Sigh. |
