Pacific took the third set 25-20 over Pepperdine. Tied at 6 in the fourth set. Pepp leads 2-1
SMC up 15-14 over SCU at the TO in the second (SCU up 1-0)
LMU tied at 11's with Gonzaga in the second (LMU up 1-0)
USF up 13-11 on USD in the second (USD up 1-0).

Gonzaga is on the cusp of taking the second set from LMU, up 24-21. And they take it 25-21 to tie the match at 1-1
USF took the second set over USD 25-20, tied at 1-1. (It looks like Durham played for Osunsanmi in the second set.)
Santa Clara took a close second 25-23 to go up 2-0
Pepperdine leads the fourth set 19-17, and the match 2-1

volleyfan58 On the previous page, it was mentioned that this is the second match? that Evans has set for USD because Munday apparently is not healthy. Osunsanmi returned to the lineup in set 1 but was ineffective and didn't play set two. She is playing set 3, now 1-1-10. Santa Clara had an easy sweep of Saint Mary's -18, -23, -16. Radeff had 20 kills at .390 + 5 blocks, Abutbul had 12 kills at .290 + 4 blocks and Flanagan had 9 errorless kills at .692, and 9 blocks. SCU hit .333 and SMC hit .157 LMU took the third set 25-19 over Gonzaga, and will try to close this out in 4. San Francisco is now up 22-13 over USD in the third set, tied at 1-1. Yikes.

Pepperdine's Piskorz, who had such a fantastic match on Thursday, was held to 5-5-19 hitting today with no blocks. She was obviously targeted on the scouting film.
Pravednikov had 19 kills at .341 for Pepperdine.
Pepp hit .247 and Pacific hit .207
San Francisco took the third set 25-14 to go up 2-1 on San Diego. But USD is starting strong in the fourth set. Up 4-1

LMU took the match 3-1 over Gonzaga. But how they dropped that second set, I don't know.
San Francisco is currently up 5-3 over San Diego in the fifth set...

USF and San Diego tied at 14 in the fifth set, but San Diego challenging a touch on the play. If successful they will win. Their postseason hopes depend on them winning this match, I believe.

San Francisco beat San Diego 17-15 in the fifth. We will need to hear trojansc's take, but I would think that would drop USD out of the bubble for the tournament. |
