Li had 49 kills across 11 sets, 4.45 per set. She led the league for the weekend.
Stafford had 25 kills across 6 sets, 4.16 per set.
similar stats between the two. I think the powers that be only looked at the stats.

First time seeing SMU play this season. At least after the first set with Nebraska they look good. The RS has a good arm, the setter and libero are both good, they get some blocking and they’ve generally got decent to good arms. Picked 6th preseason ACC and that looks about right. They could even finish as high as fourth from what I’ve seen so far of them and other teams. I think they’re gonna rack up a lot of ACC wins this season.

First time for Pitt in volleyball, also the first time any women's sport at Pitt has been ranked number 1. So if in their wisdom, the coaches put Stanford or PSU ahead of Pitt in next weeks poll, there will be much saltiness.

This was a weird week.
SMU beats Nebraska, loses to LMU.
BC loses to Binghamton
Louisville dropped at set against South Dakota
FSU loses to Auburn
Teams need to show up. If a teams doesn't show up, they can get got. Be like 6-0 Syracuse.
Syracuse should be at least 11-1 going into conference play, which after last year, is a significant improvement.
Miami is probably a top 16 team in the country right now.
