Oh wow, so the Boston College vote was for Best Lobstah!
The Syracuse vote was for the place I'm most likely to get onto the court during a timeout without anyone noticing.
And the Notre Dame votes are for the coach they'd most like to have a beer with.
Just guessing. I didn't actually ask.

20 games, 3 home and away, one against everyone else.
I voted for Pitt, since I'm sure the pollsters will forget about Pitt later this summer.

Just personnel based: Louisville returns three first-teamers and two second-teamers (though Glock may no longer start). Pittsburgh returns three first-teamers and a second-teamer (though VVG may no longer start). Ga Tech returns two first-teamers and a player who could have been All-American prior to injury (Mogridge). FSU returns two first-teamers. Miami returns a first-teamer.
Stanford returns four first-teamers. Cal returns a first teamer.
SMU returns two first-teamers and a second-teamer.

LVille plays Stanford and Pitt twice, away at the Florida schools and home against Ga Tech. Pitt plays LVille and Ga Tech twice, home against Florida schools and Stanford. (Best schedule)

Cal returns a PAC-12 honorable mention (PAC-12 didn't do second-team). And SMU transfers in an AAC first-teamer.

I'm not sure counting teamers makes sense here, given the teams came from three different conferences.
GT returns all but one starter they had in their last match: their DS, Pimentel. They also lost their backup DS, Patterson. That position is a legitimate cause for concern. Transfer Velez should be the expected starter.
The other notable loss is their setter that started most of the year, D'Amico. But I have a lot of confidence in a healthy Soares there.
As usual, GT's roster will be top-heavy and thus vulnerable to significant performance drop-off if injuries occur.
The WAC transfer mentioned above is Emiliano. She should back up Soares at setter.

I think who GA Tech returns, lost, and had transfer in is an indication they plan to run a 6-2 again.
