Uh oh- Danani said to be injured in a friendly. It’s his ankle I think… picture shows him being carried off the court WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT PLAYING FRIENDLIES?! Ugh. I get it. It's a solid tune-up against real teams instead of the same 6 on 6 in your own gym but there are just too many injuries as it is. Hope he gets well before the Games start because I don't even remember the last time he wasn't Argentina’s starting libero. Thank goodness they have Franchi.

If he's done for the olympics, i gotta assume that they bump Martinez to the L and activate Palacios. I don't think i've ever seen a second true libero for Argentina. I strongly doubt they make it out of pools if Danani is done. Martinez is solid in serve receive, but it doesn't feel like he as the defensive range that Danani has. Plus now they lose their biggest sh*t-talker.

Our boys left for Poland today to play Poland and I think Serbia in Friendlies. We need the competition so I’m all for it.

Well said.. having all these friendlies especially if there’s minimum 4 sets. Seems to be a little contradictory to the push back on the schedule and injuries. The risk is just so high.. and to what benefit…

Poland might be the best, most deep team in the world... but their passing is so mid lol. Not even Top 5 in that category.
