OK back to the match: we could've won set 3 and swept Poland if we weren't in the net like 8 times and if we'd taken TJ out sooner 🙄
Also, haven't we always ran with TJ as L1 and Russell as L2? I like Aaron better at L1 in rotation 1 but curious why they made the change.

Yes it seems the switch has been made for a bit now, likely due to if Matt needs replaced at OPP then Thomas comes in and hits from the left while TJ hits from the right for two rotations. |

I feel positive about the friendly. Again sorry to keep pulling them in but unlike the women's team it looks like the coaching staff and the team made the adjustments and did well for most of the match especially this close to the big event. I do think we need a good Russell to make it deep. I think Defalco and Jaeschke are great and definitely should be out there if Russell isn't on song but a in form Russell brings what the two outside brings in one package.
Great to see Matt have a good game too. I still stand by my earlier stance that they really should just keep him at outside but Daddy Matt was still good on the oppo.
Do we know if David Smith can play? We really miss his blocking, I think. Averill gets his stuffs and is lights out on offense but I don't think he gets enough positive touches and Jendryk is kinda iffy offensively sometimes.
