ay2013 what is the rules around people actually playing the fantasy game in good faith? If people don't bother sending in rosters or putting in stats, should they even get points for the week? ( Stanlifornia and sfvbsfvb, I'm specifically looking at you two, though there are others) What constitutes a forfeit, because it's been disappointing and frustrating for whoever plays against said person, having to do all the work.

There have been times in the past when people who dropped out just has their results nullified for the standings, but I dunno if this rises to that level? The actual rules says: Participants are responsible for scoring their own matches, compiling the results, and reporting the results to the league (participants are also encouraged to track their opponent’s team for accountability) in the official league thread each week after all matches have concluded. Any disputes will be resolved by an administrator using the figures from the NCAA stats website. Match results will be certified and unable to be changed no later than the beginning of the following week (i.e. Week 1 results will be final no later than the start of Week 3).In theory, if you want to claim victory against someone who is absent, you are welcome to. An administrator only gets involved if there is a dispute. I would say though that since this is a points based system OTHER teams have a vested interest in making sure the results are "accurate". |
