Truly. My body woke me up at the normal workday time, so i tuned in, Belgium had just gone up 2-0. Turn it off to go back to sleep and suddenly, they're locked in the fifth. Young team that needs to learn to own their success.

Egypt survived Qatar 3-2
Semifinals (Saturday, July 6th) are:
• China v. Egypt (4:00 AM ET)
• Belgium v. Ukraine (8:00 AM ET)
Should be some interesting semis. My bet is on whoever wins the Belgium/Ukraine match taking it all.

Ukraine beat Chile 3-1 Egypt survived Qatar 3-2 Semifinals (Saturday, July 6th) are:• China v. Egypt (4:00 AM ET) • Belgium v. Ukraine (8:00 AM ET) Should be some interesting semis. My bet is on whoever wins the Belgium/Ukraine match taking it all. That's what SHOULD happen. I'm still going to source a goat or two for sacrifice on behalf of Reggers Belgium to make VNL. |

You are correct about the selection criteria, but Ukraine is currently ranked 14 and Belgium is 16. So the only way Belgium would qualify is if they or Ukraine win the Challenger's Cup, otherwise it will be the winner + Ukraine. |
