Is Jackson even a lock to start on her own team? I just hope Blackwell didn’t transfer to NEB just to play sparingly.

in no world can you pick Rubin over Skinner or Franklin unless you’re moving skinner to opposite😭 im sorryyyy And you should. I'm going to call a spade a spade, the only thing Skinner and Franklin are truly value added compared to their peers is their ability to produce points out of system. Put Franklin as a 3 rotation player on the left side, put Skinner on the RS (which she already has shown a high aptitude), and let her defend middle back and hit pipes. You haven't watched Franklin pass.

OH1 - Elia Rubin OH2 - Sarah Franklin (3 rotations) MB1 - Sophie Fischer MB2 - Carter Booth OPP - Madi Skinner (6 rotations, middle back defender) S - Camryn Haworth L- Lexi Rodriguez DS - Elena Scott (right back defender) I could be persuaded for a different setter, but only one that could be a better blocker. But, honestly, as long as she's not getting tooled out of bounds a lot, with Scott covering line and tips and Roddy covering zone 5, I'm not bothered much. Also, I'd let both middles serve. If there is a knock to be had on Roddy, it's that her serve is too weak for the caliber of player that she is. Isn’t franklin a pretty damn good passer? I thought she passed over a 2.2 on the year, but I may be wrong

With NCAA rules and four hitters I want badly, I'm going a 6-2. And that opens up a LOT of setters whom I wouldn't have otherwise considered, as well as a front row player whom I wouldn't otherwise consider.
Tuaninga/Skinner(clearly the end-of-set choice when I run out of subs) Rubin Fischer Szulczewski/Smrek Franklin (Scott for situational DSing) Colvin (I want kill prevention, not stuffs, and am open to suggestions of who is better at getting to the pin and getting block touches) L: Lexi
Babcock as serving sub (ironically she was the fourth hitter I wanted but I marginally took Smrek over her as a front-row only player, mainly because I trust her more OOS front row)
EDIT: I messed up the formatting - should be Tuaninga starting in the 1 and Skinner starting in the 4, with Smrek and Szulczewski subbing in for them respectively in the 6-2 sub twice (leaving one more pair of subs for a serving sub or DS)

Colvin (I want kill prevention, not stuffs, and am open to suggestions of who is better at getting to the pin and getting block touches) Colvin certainly crossed my mind, but your reason is some of the same reason I went with Allick in this spot. There are too many variables that go into these statistics for them to be a great way to determine who's "better" at this kind of thing, but... Colvin - 10.5% Touch%, 47.6% GoodTouch%, 24.1% Error% Allick - 11.5% Touch%, 51% GoodTouch%, 20.5% Error% "GoodTouch" is the number of block stuffs plus number of block touches that result in their team being able to attack in that possession. "Error" is the number of touches in which the blocker is used or tooled to result in a kill. The statistic that actually IS better for Colvin is Stuff Blocks. I won't criticize your pick of Colvin though. This is a case where the stats can certainly be argued with.
