The 200m is going to be awesome, and the 4x100m for the US will be unreal!

The announcers wanted Thompson so bad that they screwed up the call Should have left their bias at home

The announcers wanted Thompson so bad that they screwed up the call Should have left their bias at home The fact that he called the win for Thompson with Lyles closing and it being that close was too much😂

Krishane should’ve worked a little harder on finishing and that lean instead of jogging things out all season.

I mean, I thought Thompson won too, but I'm not calling the race, lol. I was actually a bit confused when Noah started celebrating before they officially announced it, holding up his name. It wasn't until I saw the replay that I realized how incredibly fast he closed.

Lyles knew it was a photo finish before the others, as Thompson thought he had won it initially. You can see Lyles motioning to Thompson to look up at the screen for the photo finish

The announcers wanted Thompson so bad that they screwed up the call Should have left their bias at home The angle did make it look like Jamaica won; I think we can forgive them by missing 0.005 sec difference.

I actually thought Lyles won watching live but that’s because I was focused on him but even then it was too close to call. 15m to go I thought it was too far out of reach but he’s the best closer in the business. You just couldn’t tell if he ran out of runway till the replay.

I don't think they missed the .05 difference. I think they completely missed that Lyles was close, and thought it was between Thompson and Kerley

I hope I'm wrong, but I unfortunately think the Team USA gold medal drought in the 100 (since Justin Gatlin in Athens) will continue for another four years. Edit: very happy to be wrong. Yay! Glad you were wrong on this one! Lyles 🥇🇺🇸

Not bad Jacobs either, I'd say. I was satisfied that he got into the final but he had a good race.
