Irvine very surprising up on Colorado at Colorado in the 5th. that would be the most surpising/unexpected win so far this season

wow, that was a close lost opportunity for Irvine for a big win
even got a replay after Colorado 'won' initially to 15-12, but got the replay and then got to 14-13. close call would have been a huge win for them.

wow again, this UCI team is all over the place
up 2-0 and 19-13 vs. a solid Wyoming team, they can't win a match point and close out in the 3rd set, and now down 20-16 in the 4th, headed for another 5 setter.

UC does win the 5th 15-11, in an up and down and up match. good win for Irvine
good to see former Beach setter Kasia Partyka from poland, who left when Meyer came in.
MIsty May type numbers for Partyka with 47 assists, 14 digs, 6 blocks and NINE kills as a setter, they set her on the right some. She's done well at Wyoming. she looked solid

I like Partyka > Meyer, interestingly. not sure about that. Meyer is quicker. but Partyka has come a long way since her frosh year at Beach. much more polished, and sets were 400% better than her frosh year. she made a clever backset dump you don't see too often. she looks like the tallest player on the Wyoming squad brown and yellow jerseys of Wyoming hark back to the old 49er brown and gold up until late 80s when Gimmillaro introdcued black and gold. hmmm, I guess Cowboys never committed atrocities (right!) so they won't be changing the name of Wyoming to to the ......Wyoming Sagebrush, lol. oh, it's Wyoming not California, so the Cowboy name/mascot is safe, so help me San Francsico genocidal 49ers.

Still early but it’s looking like a one bid league. Hawaii the only team with a chance at an at large

Still early but it’s looking like a one bid league. Hawaii the only team with a chance at an at large pretty close to a 1 bid league, I think Hawaii has most margin for error then Beach. Poly didn't get a top 50 win, so can't see them either. Beach has Washington, Wash State, & Pepperdine next week, so if they go 2-1 they'd be in unlikely but potential position for an at-large, but likely have to finish with 6 or maybe 7 losses max including teh BWCT. But I don't see them as likely at-large. Hawaii has their road trip next week is huge. if they go 2-1 on that they'll be in good shape. given this year has more eveness at the top, wining the conference may be a 3 or 4 loss team, which means 4 or 5 losses in addition to non-conference. The top 6/7 of the conference I think are better than the top 6/7 of last year, aside from Santa Barbara clear drop off. ANd they could still improve by conference.
