I guess Irvine could make it, just a long-shot that is almost implausible. hard to imagine an of SB, SD, Beach losing two matches, especially with Beach and SD at home I think SB might be most vulnerable having to go up to Davis Hawaii will be a 1 or 2 seed, winner of Davis/Poly will be the other 1 or 2 seed. Beach has the tie-brreaker in a 3 way tie for 4th, interesting that for the tournament in SoCal, only one team (Beach) likely to be from SoCal. gonna be a neutral court without Irvine, was gonna be pretty neutral even with them Santa Barbara & San Diego is not southern california?? Edit - nvm i just realized youre the same person who thinks the Olympics wasnt in Paris lol, you are buying that line? whatever nope, Santa Barbara is Gold Coast or Central Coast to me SoCal is LA/OC/Riverside county San Diego is San Diego

Standings Rank | Team | Record (Conf.) | Record (Overall) | 1. | Cal Poly | 12-4 | 19-8
| 1. | Hawai'i | 12-4 | 18-8 | 1. | UC Davis | 12-4 | 17-8 | 4. | Long Beach State | 10-6 | 16-10 | 4. | UC San Diego | 10-6 | 16-11 | 4. | UC Santa Barbara | 10-6 | 14-14 | 7. | UC Irvine | 8-8 | 14-13 | 8. | Cal State Bakersfield | 6-10 | 12-16 | 9. | CSUN | 4-12 | 9-18 | 9. | UC Riverside | 4-12 | 9-20 | 11. | Cal State Fullerton | 0-16 | 4-22 |
If the Big West tournament started today:FIRST ROUND (4) Long Beach State vs (5) UC San Diego (3) Cal Poly vs (6) UC Santa Barbara SEMIFINALS (2) UC Davis vs Winner of (3/6) (1) Hawai’i vs Winner of (4/5) the Poly-Davis match is pretty much for a top 2 seed the loser likely 3 seed bound to be one upset though, and seeds shifting a tad. top 2 seeds is critical. I give the 3-6 seeds in total about a 25%-30% chance to get the bid. at least those teams will get a day off before the semis though

La Jolla is fine with being a distinct enclave to itself. And Santa Barbara would rather be 'south Central Coast' than lumped in with northern SoCal.

Definitely not the Gold Coast. basically if one goes to the Reagan Library and looks west they are looking away from SoCal, go to the other side of the Library (i.e. the parkkng lot) one is staring at 'Socal' lol I can provide a more detailed map if needed.

the winner of Davis - Poly match and/or Robyn will determine COY
similar for setter. Bullis has a good chance to win or Lang, not clear cut
just depends on what happens this week.
first place will mean a lot

If Hawaii wins out will they get the first seed? If cal poly wins against uc davis, Hawaii has the tie breaker since they swept CP?

UC Davis def UCSB 3-2 Cal Poly def UC Riverside 3-2 UC Irvine def Cal State Fullerton 3-0
Cal Poly & UC Davis goes up 0.5 a game over Hawai'i. But the winner of the CP/UC Davis match is guaranteed a top two seed
UC Irvine is hanging on by a thread. They HAVE to beat Hawai'i to even have a chance to stay alive, but even if they do win, the don't hold all the tiebreakers in certain situations (there are so many scenerios). But yeah if they lose to Hawai'i they are guaranteed out

Potential Seeding Scenerios To Look Out For Saturday Matches
Seeds 1-3 (Top 2 Seeds Get A Bye)
IF Hawai'i wins (1) UH, (2) Winner of CP/UCD, (3) Loser of CP/UCD
IF Hawai'i loses (1) Winner of CP/UCD, (2) UH, (3) Loser of CP/UCD
Seeds 4-6
IF LBSU wins or UCSD & UCSB both lose, LBSU is the 4th seed LBSU would have the outright 4th spot, no ties
IF UCI loses they are OUT
---------------
IF LBSU loses, UCSD & UCSB both win (4) UCSB, (5) LBSU, (6) UCSD
IF LBSU loses, UCSD & UCSB both lose, UCI wins (4) LBSU, (5) UCSB, (6) UCSD
IF LBSU loses, UCSB wins, UCSD loses, UCI loses (4) UCSB, (5) LBSU, (6) UCSD
IF LBSU loses, UCSB wins, UCSD loses, UCI wins (4) UCSB, (5) LBSU, (6) UCSD
IF LBSU loses, UCSD wins, UCSB loses, UCI loses (4) LBSU, (5) UCSD, (6) UCSB
IF LBSU loses, UCSD wins, UCSB loses, UCI wins (4) LBSU, (5) UCSD, (6) UCI
That last scenerio is the only way UCI can get in now as they don't have the tiebreaker over UCSD but they do if it's just a tie with UCSB.
Tiebreaker Advantages: UCSB > LBSU UCSB > UCSD LBSU > UCSD UCSD > UCI UCI > UCSB UCSB > UCSD > UCI UCSB > LBSU > UCSD

But yeah if they lose to Hawai'i they are guaranteed out Tell me if I got this correct. For UC Irvine to get to the tournament, these must happen: 1. Beat Hawaii 2. UC Santa Barbara to lose against UC Riverside if those 2 things happen, UCI & UCSB will both be tied at 10-8 but UCI will win a tie-breaker for beating Hawaii 2x
