There are way too many tiebreaker scenerios that could play out but regardless, Hawai'i, UC Davis, and Cal Poly can each clinch their tournament spots with a win on Saturday

UC Santa Barbara tho has UC Davis & UC Riverside who did beat Hawaii... UCI is hanging on by thread. Not out yet, but of the seven top teams they have the worst odds of making it. Assume UCI wins their last two matches against Fullerton and Hawaii: - Even if UCSD should lose their last two against Bakersfield and CSUN, UCSD would still own the H2H with UCI. UCSD gets in before UCI. - They'd need Beach to lose to both Bakersfield and CSUN, both matches in the Pyramid, to get to a tie breaker situation with Beach. Not likely to happen. - Or they'd need UCSB to lose both matches to Davis and Riverside, both away matches for UCSB, to get to a tie breaker with UCSB. UCI split with UCSB, so their tie breaker is H2Hs against common opponents starting from the top of the standings. Not sure how that would break for UCI, but looks like their best chance.

I guess Irvine could make it, just a long-shot that is almost implausible. hard to imagine an of SB, SD, Beach losing two matches, especially with Beach and SD at home I think SB might be most vulnerable having to go up to Davis Hawaii will be a 1 or 2 seed, winner of Davis/Poly will be the other 1 or 2 seed. Beach has the tie-brreaker in a 3 way tie for 4th, interesting that for the tournament in SoCal, only one team (Beach) likely to be from SoCal. gonna be a neutral court without Irvine, was gonna be pretty neutral even with them

Hawaii controls their destiny. I believe Hawaii has really turned things around post UCR. Those wins against UC Davis, LBSU and UCSD were dominant.
Another poster mentioned but in some ways, losing against the bottom half of the BWC and holding all the tiebreakers against Cal Poly, UC Davis, LBSU and UCSD ended up working in the Wahine's favor. I'm not saying I'm happy we lost to UCI, UCSB and UCR, but it is quite ironic the teams Hawaii lost to won't factor into their tiebreakers for the top seed should they win out.

Glad Hawaii controls their own destiny. I know they swept Cal Poly, but they split with Davis so I wasn't sure.
This last weekend of Big West volleyball is going to be a battle.
