watch... theyll give BWC setter of the year to Emme Bullis... Probably this will be the case, it is too bad, it was Kate's last year I don't accept anything else. Kate set better last season compared to this season and she was the clear favorite not sure how Meyer won but whateverrrrr

Hoping Hawaii gets to play Davis, Hawaii vs Cal Poly is not a worry

So much for the theory that UCSD had to win today in order for UCI to reach the tournament. UCSD was swept 3-0 by CSUB. UCSD won Yes, the Tritons did. I wrote that post after checking the Big West website page listing the results of UCSD’s 2024 matches. At the time it indicated that today’s CSUB match was an 0-3 loss. It’s since been corrected to a 3-0 win. So now all the pieces fit.

As we gear towards the end of the season, here are my predictions for All-Big West teams All-Big West PredictionsPlayer of the Year: Caylen Alexander, OH, Hawai’i Setter of the Year: Kate Lang, Hawai’i Libero of the Year: Tayli Ikenaga, Hawai’i Freshman of the Year: Audrey Hollis, S, UC San Diego Coach of the Year: Dan Connors, UC Davis First TeamEmme Bullis, S, Cal Poly Tommi Stockham, OH, Cal Poly Caylen Alexander, OH, Hawai’i Kate Lang, S, Hawai’i Natalie Glenn, OPP, Long Beach State Jade Light, OH, UC Davis Olivia Utterback, OPP, UC Davis Emily McDaniel, MB, UC San Diego Second TeamBreklyn Pulling, MB, Cal Poly Sydney Dunning, OH, Cal State Bakersfield Tayli Ikenaga, L, Hawai’i Kameron Bacon, MB, Long Beach State Mia Starr, S, UC Davis Katie Smith, OH, UC Irvine Ava McInnes, OH, UC San Diego Eva Travis, OH, UC Santa Barbara All-Freshman TeamElif Hurriyet, L, Cal Poly Chloe Leluge, MB, Cal Poly Miliana Sylvester, MB, Hawai’i Paulina Baillie, L, UC San Diego Audrey Hollis, S, UC San Diego Molly McCluskey, OPP, UC San Diego Eva Travis, OH, UC Santa Barbara CP COY and Chloe Leluge FOY - BW Champions, righted the ship after a slow start, and 2 freshman that made a huge impact. Don't see Davis as COY. Davis was at the top by playing UH and CP early in the season as those teams were still figuring things out. Davis has mostly been a .500 team and they will go back to a .500 team losing Utterback and not developing any freshman.
