this creighton announcer freaks out like every time that pavan has gotten blocked-- it is kinda funny-- but is it really that big of a deal.

Soy smoothies? Is that what Baylor drinks or does Cook make his team drink that? It was the ad on the Husker radio... seriously, wanted to hurl.

I like the Bluejays announcer's enthusiasm myself.

Well soybeans are a big part of our (Nebraska's) agricultural economy, gotta do whatcha ya gotta do. Although, I agree I think its probably a waste of advertising money (unless it was free)...who's gonna drink that!

Nebraska produces more than 1/5 of every hamburger or steak in the U.S.... this brought to you by the soybean folks, who suggest to support the cow folks.

134 swings for the OH's, only 27 for the MB....not good.

Message received!!! We understand you must find any little thing to hammer Nebraska with.
However, if you really have a tough time finding Huskers.com then maybe you need a lesson on searching or the fact that if you really do following VB you would have been to this site before as many matches have been carried free over the past few years.
If you insist on getting sick of listening to the VB announcer then don't listen or use gametracker.
any other pointless complaints?

Great for volleyball, not just in Nebraska. Anytime 12,000 (paid) attend a match it is significant. People are so critical of Nebraska in so many ways, (deserved or not) but from a nurturing of the sport and a marketing standpoint everyone needs to tip their cap.

On a positive side, unlike the Longhorns, when the other team is on fire, like the Bluejays, the Huskers remained composed and chipped away. Eventually, the Bluejays came back to earth and the Huskers took over the match. Not a pretty match, but the desired result.

Getting sick was from the thought of eating soy whatever. I just commented that in an early conversation, many said these guys were good. They are, but it's a little monotone... i feel like taking a nap after listening to the low-bass quality of John Baylor's voice. Yeah... dude, your avatar is sick.

I thought the Huskers came out alittle tight, especially Busboom. Normally this season she has not been hesitant. On several occasions in both game one and two she seem very tight. Although Maggie didn't set horribly she doesn't seem to run the team like Holloway does. They just seem more confident when she is on the floor. Cooper was clueless on the block but did attack nicely. This match was great for Nebraska. It shows them that if you are not mentally ready to go, anyone can beat you. I agree like some others said, this group still manages to find a way to grit it out. :-)
