I'm really looking forward to this match. The Gophers have some great momentum, and a win would really bode well for them, not only in the conference standings -- keep sole posession of 2nd place -- but really help build this team for the post season.
Wisconsin played very, very well last weekend, even without Carlini -- pretty scary. Wonder if those freshmen will ever start playing like freshman.
With it being a Wed. game, I would guess there will be fewer Wisonsin fans, and fans overall, which is a shame. This match always drew huge crowds on the weekends.

I hope both teams bring their "A" game. Both teams have been inconsistent, although Minnesota's inconsistency has been in the matches themselves, rather than from match to match.
I'd love to see the Gophs put it all together for this match. And another match in a week and a half.

The Wed. time will probably reduce the number of WI fans. But I think there will be a good sized crowd on the MN side. I have heard from a number of high school teams that are planning to attend. Hopefully, we have a raucus crowd as this is one of the fun matches of the year.

AND, I understand Klinemann is planning to attend, as she has expanded her consideration set to MN. She's tired of all the Stanford posters insisting she is going there.

So this match is in Minneapolis?
If so, Pablo throws up his hands and says, "Don't look at me! I can't tell them apart."
I won't let the cat completely out of the bag, but it looks like after applying the HCA, they are separated by 24 Pablo points. That is about a .5 point difference in a 5 game match.
I'm not going to say who's favored (you will learn soon enough)

Unfortunately I beleive it turns out that it will be (R)uffda! in his pre-Halloween Alix costume in attendance for the Gopher / Badger match. Kinda scary, actually..

are we really going to keep jackson's scholly? seems like it could be put to better use. not to be mean, but if someone great came along......but I guess I, as the coach, wouldn't pull it from a player to whom it was promised.....and I'm sure our coache's standards are even higher.

Much better for retaining noise. YIKES! I just looked up North American Badger on a web site to find ammo for the fire and found out that they like to prey upon pocket gophers and ground squirrels! OH NO!
