How about Baylor? A win over Oklahoma should get them in. I saw Illinois play today and BU is better than them and should be listed above over A&M and probably Missouri looking at the last 10 games. I still think seven teams out of the Big 12 is possible.

There's been a lot of teams not making their case so far: Illinois, Michigan, Northwestern, NMSU, Notre Dame, St. Johns, Kentucky, etc.
ASU is now in?

Michigan made its case long ago.
See my comment elsewhere. Why include Michigan in this list and leave BYU out?
Northwestern still needs a win. Illinois is pretty much out.

Yes, BYU can be added to that list.
The point is that there are a lot of so-called bubble teams not helping their cause this weekend.

NMSU is not a bubble team. They are in! I agree. NMSU is in. They have a great record, one bad loss to Nevada, but two good wins against the WAC and WCC Champions. Almost all of their WAC matches were won in sweeps. They're in. Hawaii and NMSU ~ in But I don't think the WAC has any other shot at representation. No bubble teams here.

The better point is that NMSU didn't shoot themselves in the foot this weekend -- which was what my original post incorrectly implied. Losing in the final shouldn't hurt them.

I would be interested in having IB's chart updated with the teams that made the tournament.

Will you all keep this thread towards the top until IB gets here? I'd do it but I've gotta get some sleep. Thanks in advance. Good night.
