Even the tv broadcasters say that Smith is a freshman. I kept thinking that sounded wrong, but oh well.

Wow, what interesting predictions! Engle from Texas is very impressive, but is it only because she is surrounded by many all stars? I feel like even though Engle has a slight advantage because she only played volleyball and has more experience. Hooker is way more impressive and has made more of an impact in Austin. Also, if Whitney Dosty of Arizona can progress quicker she will surpass Kim Glass.

oi oi oi did i not state that there should be no mention of any players from the east so yes hodge is woeful and for the same reason as cusack is woeful too cusack shouldn't even be mentioned besides hodge anyway as much as hodge is woeful cusack is worse here are the reasons if hodge tanks in her hitting then what her block would tank too coz she won't be able to focus on other things besides hitting errors and she doesn't have any ball control skills to save her life engle will make an impact in every aspect of the game even if her hitting will tank i know i stated cusack shouldn't even be mentioned but i just want to elucidate just once here why and end further mention of that sorry player some1 stated that if she goes the team goes and it was evident during their match against socar(olina) well there's yer xplanation socar is a nobody given a little recognition by the worthless avca for parity's sake and in turn the pliant vb 'fan' readily accept as a legit team in reality however socar is nobody and so are all the teams outside of the west because there is no competition there that would make each team better as compared to the west i guess having western teams win titles and make the final4 90% of the time every yr is just very fortuitous and if that is the case then i have a country in the middle east i will sell ye now that the losers are put in their rightful places i would like to pick the pac10 rookies from oregon and usc but the reality of it is that engel has a better chance of being foy since she does so much more than any1 for a team

Engle is surrounded by all-stars? Are you sure you're not talking about Hodge and Holloway?

I use that term loosely. She is surrounded by much more experienced players. Penn State is young and Nebraska just won't win the championship. Nebraska... Pavan is not good. Or let's just say I am not impressed by someone of her size and supposed ability. She looks like a great dane playing volleyball. Holloway is a great setter. Can't say anything bad about her at all. She is smart about where she sets, has great form, and her hands and placement are just amazing. Mancuso is a spot filler. Stalls...well, she is hitting much better then I've ever seen before. Her and Holloway connect extremely well and Stalls looks very good on the block as well. The other middle is a spot filler. Busboom...thank goodness she is not setting any more. What a waste John! She is a much better libero and I will leave it at that. Jordan is the ISH! She is by far the best players NU has ever had. Her court sense is uncanny and she can really bash the ball. She makes the difference on that team. Her and Holloway. Penn State.... Glass is a freshman and is tall, athletic, and dumps too much. She can't deal with bad passing which is evident in their loss to Ohio State (you know that should not have happened) and needs more playing experience. Fawcett is hands down the best outside hitter in the country. She plays a great backrow, but doesn't get much play because of the ds that goes in for her (she is terrible). Libero is one of the best in the country and has an amazing jump serve. She digs great and she was home schooled too. Hodge is too inconsistent and really seems to get lucky every time she hits the ball. I just mean that it doesn't look right, but it happens to go down sometimes. Passing is terrible. Walbrige (sp?) she is a solid blocker, but looks very stiff when she approaches to the ball for an attack. She is unique to say the least, but a very impressive blocker. Sailer (sp?) is okay, but being at 6'5" on the right isn't too hard to deal with. She can bang the slide, but is limited otherwise. Harmotto is the xfactor of the team. She is very good in the middle and has great intensity in the middle. Hits the ball hard and really seems comfortable off of the freshman setter. I still think Penn State has the best chance this year. UCLA is good, but setting can only go so far. Washington doesn't seem to have what they did last year. No to Nebraska. Texas is too young. Stanford will be close, but Girard and the opposite position will be the weakest link. I love Mary Wise, but Florida will never make it. No to USC. And there are no other teams that will make it this year. Engle is surrounded by all-stars? Are you sure you're not talking about Hodge and Holloway?

I am not kidding. She can only hit, but is still only okay at that. All I'm saying is that people hold her in very high regard and she has the personality of a plate and is not that good at her sport. When she's on the court it looks like she doesn't care and she looks like skeletor. And don't throw trolling out when you were the quickest to respond. Nebraska... Pavan is not good. uh... are you trolling? or are you serious?

Of course I've seen Cynthia play. She is right next to Fawcett in terms of OH. Point taken and I have to say they are equal right now. And, since they are the same year it will be interesting to see what develops. Fawcett is hands down the best outside hitter in the country. She plays a great backrow, but doesn't get much play because of the ds that goes in for her (she is terrible). Have you ever seen Cynthia Barboza play?

Is that the best you can do? I'm not looking to forum fight, but at least be more creative then your last post. I stand by my opinion 2000%. May be someday you and I can play and you'll understand what I mean. I am not kidding. She can only hit, but is still only okay at that.
