Gee, I could see 0-1 Pac-10 teams in the Final Four to balance your 2-3 BM.

Gee, I could see 0-1 Pac-10 teams in the Final Four to balance your 2-3 BM. Let's see what the committee does with the regional pairings....then we can talk from a little more "informed" position here, don't you think??

The committee tends to do the same regionalization with the Big 10 and Big 12 that it does with the Pac 10. Perhaps with other conferences that get mutliple teams selected as well, however, I've not paid as much attention to those conferences. Especially since the 9/11 attacks and the advent of pre-selected regional sites. FWIW: You didn't seem to care much about any "informed" positions when you made your previous post.

Gorf is just "Frog" spelled backwards.
I would personally like to see PSU, Nebraska, or USC end up in the Honolulu regional. I'm tired of those blackguards from Stanford, and I like the Bruins so I don't want to see them here either. If Tennessee makes the tourney, please ship those flashes in the pan here as well. Too bad Texas has its own regional.....I'd like for Hawai'i to play them again.

One of the teams leading the Pac 10 lost to the team that is going to finish 3rd in the Big 12. Early season losses only count against you if you are outside the Pac-10. Don't you know how the polls work? Using your logic, it appears LATE season losses don't count against you if you are in the Big 12. Moreover, the team leading the Big 12 (and ranked #1 in the nation!) lost late in the season to the team (unranked Colorado) that lost to the team (UCLA, in a sweep) that is going to finish third or fourth in the Pac 10. lol ;D

Keystone isn't the sharpest knife in the draw. I'd have more fun debating a Parrot.

Btw, the answer to the thread's question is....NO, they can't. History is our witness.

If we're gonna do the one off losses we can go back to Stanford losing to BYU who lost to 9-19 (#141 Pablo) New Mexico that will finish 7th - 9th place in the Mountain West conference.

I thought that was why the Pac-10 teams wanted to be all in the same bracket. So they can whine about the unfairness of being in the same bracket while getting beat by teams not in the Pac-10 like last year. << duckin >>

Hopefully you don't get your wish on that, I'd like to see the Wahine have a chance to make it to at least their own regional final.

Can Penn State and Nebraska beat the PAC 10? Yes! I can see Nebraska coming out of the Florida regional and headed back HOME for the F4. Once at Omaha they should be the favorite no matter what other three teams complete the field. At this point I see Nebraska as the overall #1 seed heading to Gainesville.
