Nobody named Mason, Wolfgang. Aaronic was just speculating. To me Mason is more assertive an aggressive of the two. She even admiited starring accross the net and laughed about it. Remember her last TV interview with JM? Lemme just say for one last time: JUST MOVE ON!!!!! by the way I wasn't just speculating. however I can see how you might have thought that after having read many of your stupid ass posts. You wrote: It was not you but ooreo46 who was speculating, and I must say you sort of defended Houston's honor, for that I apologize. But if you want to move on you shouldn't invite anymore stupid ass comments, ok? Shawty puhhleeeease... First of all how can you state that ooreo46 was the one who was speculating when in your earlier quote that I pulled up clearly states (you claim) that I was the one speculating? Secondly you also state that if I wanted to move on(on the Houston topic) then I shouldn't invite anymore stupid ass comments? OK well I obviously wasn't refering to Houston at all, but the last part of my post I was merely refering to you because you do seem to compose stupid ass posts.... and that last one just proves it.... BIGTIME.... hehe. boo yaaaa..... you try to turn this around by using my words against me when in that same post you don't hold any sort of validation whatsoever.... please go back to the pineapple fields and think of a better rebuttle....idiot.

One is iust trying to get me to let him write something to you. He's trying to confirm what you said. These guys are playing around. We're all college educated/professional people
Don't let this board get into your head. After all I did apologize.

yeno what. this whole Jamie Houston thing is ridiculous. who cares what happened in the past. people screw up, and im sure IF all of this happened, it was addressed. the wahine were able to pull through towards the end of the season, so obviously the "drama" and frustration wasn't the end of their world. get over it people.

So do you guys think Jamie's gonna hold on to her 5 1/2 kill average next year? I hope Hittle shares Mason's success this year in the spot opposite Houston. I am so ready for Hittle to average 4-5 kills a game and hit for a higher percentage!
Also, does Thomas have a serious shot at winning a starting job? Sanders and Gregory will be returning starters and seniors while the right side has Kaufman, even if Keefe doesn't fully recover.

Thomas has a much better chance at winning that RS position over Kaufman. Overall, Im anxious to see what's going to happen over the spring.

About the backup setter issue, what about making Rayna Kitaguchi the backup setter? She seems athletic enough and is listed at the same height as Kanoe. I remember reading somewhere that she has experience at setter.

So many good converted OHs to setters in the past have been so successful and even make All-American (Misty May and Robin Ah Mow) to name a few. But then a lot dont have the hand's of a player like Ah Mow, and the court sense of May.

I would love to see that Amanda Simmons girl 6'3 play right side or Nickie and move Kaufman to the outside. With Amber's leaping abilities, she would do great as an OH.
OH's - Jamie 6'2, Tara 6'0, Amber 6'0, Alicia 6'0 MB's - Sanders 6'2, Thomas 6'3, Gregory 6'3, Simmons 6'3 RS - Keefe 6'1, Simmons 6'3, Thomas 6'3 Thomas and Simmons regardless if she redshirts should be trained to the RS and not just for the MB position, but for a bigger block. Sanders and Gregory stays in the MB. At least this is what I think.

There's no way Amber Kaufman can be moved to the outside unless she improves her approach and her hitting ability. This whole season she looked really awkward taking a regular approach to the ball. It seems like she can only hit the slide (which she does pretty well). Unless she can clean up and improve on her approach as an outside hitter she will have to stay on the right or in the middle.

My daughter actually played against Amber in high school. Amber was often moved to the outside when she was being keyed off of in the middle. I believe Amber was the strongest in the middle and outside positions. It's unfortunate the Wahine had any injuries in 2006, but especially on the RS. I would really like to see Amber playing middle or outside in 2007.

Really she jus seems really uncomfortable and awkward taking a regular outside approach to the ball and if she played outside once in awhile in high school I would think that she would have that down more. And Amber even quoted some of her teammates also said that she can't hit on the outside either. So I dunno. I'm sorry I should requote what I said, I'm sure she has the potential to improve, but I dunno I jus see her as a better fit as a right side or a middle since she has that step out down packed.

I have not seen her play anything but the right side for Hawaii, but I believe she she should be able to step in and step up given the opportunity.
