I have to agree with this. In most cases, an associate coach is somebody who has paid their dues with a respective university - not a coach who has yet to finish a year at the institution. It wil be interesting to see how the loss of Boos effects the Gopher program.

I do find irony in a "short list" for Mike. Considering of all past assts recently, Dave, Scott, and Brian, that JILL was the TALLEST of them all!

so to the question earlier, does anyone know who the asst coaches for Boos will be or who he has in mind to bring in with him to join his staff at BSU.

You're asking for speculation or what? He has a brother coaching at Duluth who might like to switch to Division 1, one supposes.

I think a lot of people will be surprised by the choices. Paris Hilton and Donald Trump? Yep. I didn't see that coming. Way to go, Dave!

Getting The Donald on board is a good move though if Dave wants to weed out any of the "dead wood", so to speak. Trumpster is good at firing people.

Getting The Donald on board is a good move though if Dave wants to weed out any of the "dead wood", so to speak. Trumpster is good at firing people. Unfortunately, it could ruin team chemistry for Donald to repeatedly yell "You're fired!" to the players on the team. Dave would have to spend practically all of his time telling the players that they're really not fired and Donald is only their for his spiffy haircut.
