Does anyone know of any new transfers out there? It seems like this would be the time of year for players to be on the lookout for a better situation.

Wow, anyone know the story here, other than she wanted to get back home? How much does this hurt Kentucky?

That is four players from Kentucky who are tranferring from the program. Does anyone know what the heck is going on in Lexington?? Skinner is a pretty good guy, and the program is improvingl. I just can't understand all the upset players.

There are some way bigger transfers out there, that I am shocked nobody has picked up on. You also have to remember the biggest reason players transfer is that they, can't get on the court. That is the case way more than, they don't like the coach or program. It happens.

Let us not forget that the early signing period will have some impact on these kids transferring because they think they made a mistake the first time around and that they were ill prepared to make that decision that early in the process.

Edwards is a loss, she started on the RS, but is a true setter. Rumely, just a freshman beat her out of the starting spot. So maybe she realized that she wouldn't play much for the next 2 seasons at her true spot. She is supposed to be a good setter, but I haven't seen her talent. Although she did set a good second ball.
Who are the other 2 transfers?

Yeah, Tess is a really good setter, so being beat at that position was hard. And while she got to play a lot at RS, setting's what she loves to do. I get the impression she'll be sad to leave all her friends, but it's a good change for her. She'll do really well at Ottawa -- they're graduating their All-Canadian (I think -- at least 1st team All-OUA, anyway) setter either this year or next, and so she'll be able to step right in. And she'll be back at home -- for someone who's so close to her family, that'll be nice.

K.C. Walsh - Loyola Marymount - little sis of Kelli (Santa Clara) and another sister that never really amounted to much ;D Sydney Blancarte - Colorado State

You can read this at least TWO ways: 1. The first way, which is how I read it initially, is: K.C. Walsh is the little sis of Kelli Walsh. KC, like Kelli, never amounted to much. 2. The second way, which is probably the way you intended, is: KC Walsh is the little of sister of Kelli and Kerri (of course, Kerri is the Walsh that never amounted to much, other than winning a couple of NCAA titles, NCAA POY, AA for 4 years, beach vb dominatrix, and Gold medal at the Olympics).

Does anyone know of any new transfers out there? It seems like this would be the time of year for players to be on the lookout for a better situation. Why!? Transferring sucks most of the time. I think its becoming more and more common... like divorce. The "What have you done for me lately?" attitude that this generation exhibits. It sucks.

Wonder if that makes a scholie available to over Bartek? No way would she go to Kansas and sitting but I also didn't think Kentucky had a spot until I saw this.
