Just received a ticket promotion for a Spring volleyball match between Arizona and Hawaii.
Dave vs. Dave.
Shoji vs. Rubio.
It's my understanding that Kanoe and Sarah may be playing to help fill-in the roster.

Odin seems to frown on duplicative threads. That's all.

Evidently Hawaii has enough healthy players to play Arizona, but not enough to play Nebraska.

Evidently Hawaii has enough healthy players to play Arizona, but not enough to play Nebraska. What are you mumbling about? Are telling me that Shoji turned down a Nebraska visit to the SSC this spring? I don't think the Wahine are all that healthy, especially noting that Kamana'o and Mason will be on the court for Hawai'i against the Wildcats. Hawai'i has these matches for its fans...plain and simple.

Didn't Nebraska come to Hawaii a few years ago for a spring match. Shoji probably just wanted to give another team a chance to come.

No, I begged Dave not to bring Nebraska over... I didn't want John Cook to beat me up.

They almost did... there were some problems with the idea, enough healthy Hawaii players was the main concern.

Evidently Hawaii has enough healthy players to play Arizona, but not enough to play Nebraska. I was kind of thinking the same thing....about a month ago the Hawaii faithful were all talking about them "bypassing" Spring ball this year due to injuries, rehabs, etc.....yeah, got enough to Lure dumb Rubio into the Lair but not gonna take on the Huskers! Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery interesting!
