Anyone else willing to concede the championship to Nebraska next year?
Seriously, who even comes close? Even if Nebraska were to (hopefully not) suffer an injury or two, they are pretty loaded.
Stanford? Maybe the closest challenger Texas? Not quite. Penn State? No. Wisconsin? Definitely not. UCLA? USC? Washington? Not quite.

Stanford, Texas, Penn State, Florida should all be capable of beating them, although none -- on paper -- would be favored.
USC, maybe.

I say Nebraska will be loaded....but....they will have to play at the highest level of their game every single match just because everyone that plays them will try and be a spoiler especially my Longhorns.........Penn State is a team I will not put on the 2nd place list even the likes of Stanford of course.....Texas will be very athletic but yet still young.....Penn state will surprise us this coming season I say............................................................................

Penn. State and Texas, in particular, had very good and VERY YOUNG teams last year. If their young players develop, Penn. State and Texas could make, by far, the biggest improvements of any teams in the country, and beat ANYONE.

I say the fight will be who will be #1........should be the question......and I'm coming to think that the Cornhuskers won't be #1 at the end of the year....At least that's what I think...

Penn State's preseason is rarely conducive to a championship run.
Stanford will look wobbly in the beginning but will peak in the end.
The Longhorns need to get a taste for pregame Texas Chili to fulfill their potential.
Wisconsin could be wickedly fast, catch them if you can.
Florida snaps but rarely bites.
Dole's abandonment of Island Pineapple is a bad omen for the Wahines.
Duke will never get to the final four.

I think Texas and Stanford have a really good chance at being competitive with Nebraska... Still though, Nebraska is going to be smoking and will be tough to beat. I can't wait... I'm looking for Texas to make some serious strides from this past season.

The team with the most pros and/or furriners.

At this point, almost six months before the season, I too agree that the Huskers will be the early favorite, but I don't think it will be that big of a gap with the next 4 or 5 teams. If you looked at it by saying you could pick either the Huskers on one hand or everyone else on the other, then I think that Nebraska will be a clear underdog to win it all as of now and the "field" would be the favorite.

The team with the most pros and/or furriners. So USC has a shot?

naw, Nebraska will go back to that idiotic 6-2 and minimize their potential with a subpar setter half the time, Stanford will win it all... unfortunately.

Nebraska will not repeat. Klineman of Stanford will make Sarah Pavan look like yesterdays news.

Nebraska will not repeat. Klineman of Stanford will make Sarah Pavan look like yesterdays news. That's funny. Klineman is special and she has a chance to be really special before her career is over, but she isn't close to Paven at this point. Especially physically. She needs a year in the weight room. What I do agree with you on is Stanford is capable of winning it. Any team can be beat on any given night. That's why we play the games.

In needs to be said that Nebraska will have the most potent offensive weapons in the history of the NCAA. Two National players of the year,Jordan Larson and Stalls . If they play to their expectations they will be untouchable.
