I hope it is Tarah Murrey! Well the poster who started this said that it was a middle blocker... so I dont think it could be Murrey, though who knows how accurate his information was.

and Tarah is in the same time zone as UCLA last I checked altho if we keep having these earthquakes last few days, who the heck knows where we will end up.
The 4.2 last nite had 14 aftershocks in 2 hours! Fortunately only a couple of the aftershocks were 'felt'....but we kind of start looking for the nearest table ... prior one in Berkeley was just last Friday.... supposedly there is no earthquake weather....but we think there generally is... and this weather is not it! Hail, sleet, snow on the foothills for 3 days and then 65 degrees today and sunny.... odd...

Little earthquakes are typically a good thing, relieving stress for what could be a bigger one.

SakiBomb guessed correctly. Camp to UCLA, which still has one schollie left for that year.

I would like a scholarship for myself. How do I pull that off? (no pun intended)

Unless someone is leaving the program, UCLA does not have any more scholarships for the class of 2008.
Let the speculation begin on who might be leaving the program!

Elise Cartensen perhaps? With Gil, Sage, and Camp coming in, she won't get any playing time her senior year, unless she plays on the right side, which I think she has done before in the past. Oh not to mention Katie Mills... the Bruins are superloading on middles and if Murrey committs to UCLA, that will be one of the best classes in recent memory.

Saki - it is "Carstensen", with an "s" between the "r" and "t".

Gil, Sage & Camp is a pretty impressive class already and probably leading the pack. Should be an interesting battle for the last few top 08 recruits.

Who is the better of the twin towers or Camp and Kabbes, and where is Kabbes looking?

Kabbes was the Gatorade POY for NC and one of 5 finalists for junior of the year. Schools she is considering the University of Texas, UCLA, the University of Notre Dame and Purdue University.

Isn't she an '08 as well. No room at the inn at UCLA if that is true.

Above, JTawa says UCLA has one more scholarship left for 08 after the addition of Camp. I definitely think he's a good source of knowledge for info like this.
