I'm still hearing Ohio State, Purdue, Minnesota and Kentucky. Well, you're giving Minnesota an unfair advantage by writing out Minnesota in bold. Totally underhanded.

Yeh, I don't understand these Canadians. You would think that Ontario families would like Ann Arbor's proximity or even the big city alure of Chicago, but no, they end up in places like Lincoln and Columbus. It must be brain permafrost.

Perhaps, and maybe it then becomes a matter of over emphasizing volleyball relative to other important aspects of the college experience.

Exactly my point. Aspiring engineers would be a good fit with Purdue.

Maybe she's got a a fairly common major and as long as she goes to a school that's at least pretty good she can get pretty much the same education anywhere. First of all, you act like volleyball isnt a HUGE part of their college experience. The amount of time it involves is crazy, so it makes sense that it be given a "crazy" amount of consideration. And like I said, for a lot of common undergrad majors, there is probably no serious difference between Tennessee, or Minnessota, or Tosu, or Florida, or USC, or wherever. And lots of players DO still place a lot of emphasis on non volleyball things. Thats a big part of how schools with less volleyball prestige sometimes outrecruit a big school.
